EL DEPARTAMENTO
La Universidad de la Frontera se crea a través de un decreto de gobierno que ordenó la fusión de las sedes regionales de las Universidades capitalinas, en este caso, se unieron las sedes de la Universidad Técnica del Estado y la Universidad de Chile.
En tanto, “La Facultad de Ingeniería y Administración” de la Universidad de La Frontera, se crea a través del Decreto 72 del 1 de julio de 1981.
La Facultad se dividió en tres áreas específicas: Administración y Economía, Ingeniería y Ciencias Básicas, y se organizada en 9 Departamentos académicos; Matemática y Estadística, Ciencias Físicas, Ciencias Químicas, Construcción Civil, Ingeniería en Electricidad, Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería de Sistemas, Ingeniería Química, Administración y Economía, además del Instituto de Informática.

PROPAEDEUTIC UFRO 2022
The Center for Mathematical Support and Early Linking (CAMVIT) of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the Universidad de La Frontera invites its 3rd and 4th grade students from their Lyceum or College to apply and participate in the Mathematics Propaedeutic program.
This year 2022 we will do it again in person, but also in an online modality for students who cannot come for geographical or health reasons.
The activities to be carried out are aimed at reinforcing the contents of the study plan and the preparation of the Mathematics Higher Education Access Test (PAES), through the resolution of exercises and problems, thus improving student expectations. both in high school or college and in the PAES test. We will show innovative strategies to approach and solve problems.

HOW TO BE PART OF THE UFRO PROPAEDEUTIC
Students who wish to apply and participate in this activity must fill out the registration form that is available in March 2022.
