On the Humbert-Edge curves

Abstract:
A Humbert-Edge curve is a projective curve that can be expressed as a complete intersection of
\[n-1\]
diagonal quadrics in
\[\mathbb{P}^n\]
. We want to discuss the contribution of W.L. Edge to the study of these curves. Moreover, we present some generalizations of these ideas including the study of moduli, decomposition of Jacobians and a more carefully analysis of particular cases.
