| An extremal \[k\] -packing in a compact surface is an embedding of \[k\] disjoint metric discs with maximum radius. In this talk we will show some properties of these packings for non-orientable surfaces. As an application, we will classify 2-packings in compact Riemann surfaces of genus 2. This is a joint work with E. Girondo which was done in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. |
